Did you see where Texas put the LSU band?
The furthest possible distance from the field...very top of the stadium, last few rows. Nosebleed of all nosebleeds.
But LSU certainly had the last laugh.
I wonder if that's a home and away deal?

If it were me, they’d be in the parking lot.

Great game. Impressed with LSU. Hope they take down Bama.

As someone who lives in SEC country, LSU is, in my opinion, the most talented team in the country. Year in and year out, they have an abundance of talent. They have to travel to Tuscaloosa this year. It will be a hell of a game.

And USC had Ed Orgeron as their interim head coach and they didn't think he was good enough to make him permanent. He has been better than every USC coach since Carroll.

The USC wine and cheese crowd didn't want him. I recall how SCglory also dismissed him. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid.

Best game of the day by far. Quality football on a big time stage.

Where is SC? Was obviously active here and on the SC boards. Hide nor hair of him for the last 2 years or so.

Maybe since WSU has been better than USC recently, he cannot have his superiority complex that he tries to have here.

Didn't care for him trading off WSU/SC depending on who was better but seemed like a decent enough guy. Enjoyed some of his WSU-related reveries

But seriously he doesn't post anywhere anymore. Not sure who he was but clearly something changed, possibly in a terminal sense. Don't want to get too cosmic about it if it isn't deserved but life is short

I don't have to talk about SEC arrogance. Yet, there are two schools in the US that top the SEC in that regard; Texas and Notre Dame. I was happy to see big Ed win that game. And the comments about SC not thinking that Orgeron had what it took to coach at a major level...and instead they have Helton....was too funny for words.

Orgeron needed the right fit. His ability to acquire and motivate talent has always been clear, but he did kinda blow it when he was at Ole Miss (his offenses were routinely garbage). He's clearly got the right people around him handling that now, and he's the hometown boy so the fans love him. As long as he keeps winning, Coach O has a shot to meet or exceed what Saban and Miles achieved there. He's better off at LSU than he ever would have been at SC.

Ole Miss was his first head coaching job. There have been many many coaches that failed their first time. He was much better prepared when he was coach of USC. He is one of the best recruiters in college. In my opinion, he would have done great at USC.

As a double bonus now all the SEC honks are blathering on about 3 of the beat four teams are SEC. Bama, UGA, and now LSU. It is like they do not even watch other teams anymore because their minds are made up already with the exception of if an SEC team needs to be added to the top ten.

Let's be honest why he didn't get the job. He doesn't sound or look like someone who should coach SC. He doesn't come across as cerebral enough. They saw him as a position coach, plain and simple. They didn't see him as the CEO of the program.

And his stint and lack of success at Ole Miss didn't do him any favors.
