That's what I'm hearing elsewhere. Pride of the Sun Belt Conference. Not to be confused with N. Texas, UTSA, Sam Houston State, or Rice.
Didn’t like the idea at first but growing on me. Big enrollment, research U, great location, growing and investing into athletics. Think they are potentially a sleeping giant and will be great add for the future. That's what I'm hearing elsewhere. Pride of the Sun Belt Conference. Not to be confused with N. They have been going to bowl games lately so they are doing things correctly and upgrading the program.Didn’t like the idea at first but growing on me. I remember San Marcos feeling a bit like a very big Pullman in the sense that it's a college town but what a college town looks like with 40K population (now 70K). New Braunfels is pretty close and felt somewhat comparable to Moscow.Didn’t like the idea at first but growing on me. Big enrollment, research U, great location, growing and investing into athletics. There's a Buc-ees in New Braunfels, too. Which is f'ing awesome.I remember San Marcos feeling a bit like a very big Pullman in the sense that it's a college town but what a college town looks like with 40K population (now 70K). New Braunfels is pretty close and felt somewhat comparable to Moscow.
Coug fans would enjoy the trip.
Biggs' favorite player is on the roster. Three carries this season. That's what I'm hearing elsewhere. Pride of the Sun Belt Conference. Not to be confused with N. Texas, UTSA, Sam Houston State, or Rice.
The Mighty Loyal One has announced it. No further independent source is needed. I know all and see all.I have seen no recent mention of this anywhere at all. Where is this coming from?
$13-43M to lure in Memphis? That is quite a range. If the Pac and traitors win their lawsuits, which a) won't happen, and b) ain't going to be settled anytime soon, why would the Pac not offer UNLV which in that win-win scenario would cost nothing? It's a option, and one of the better, best Sun Belt teams, and they are only getting better, and helps recruit Texas, and might help get UTSA, North Texas.
Also WSU, OSU, PAC 12 is probably going to wait until both the Lawsuit gets settled, win Lawsuit, and get 12,13, 12.5 mil per team, per year media deal, and then when, if win lawsuit, PAC 12 will probably try again to get Memphis, since Memphis AD pretty much said, hinted, that if PAC 12 had made a better offer then the LOWBALL 2.5 MIL offer, that they might semi probably would have joined PAC 12, and that Memphis is probably open to a good non lowball offer(like about 13 mil to 23 mil to 33 mil to 43 mil offer, instead of 2.5 mil), to probably join PAC 12.
.
Why do you care to remember this?Biggs' favorite player is on the roster. Three carries this season.

2-10, 4-8, 8-5 and 8-5 in the last 4 years, in the Sun Belt. Wins in the First Responder Bowl in 2024 and 2023 against 6-7 N. Texas and 6-7 Rice. A program on the rise. Did I say in the Sun Belt?
This is a home run for the Pac.
aggies22 responded: 100% true.
Hard to forgot such football wisdom. Like Biden saying he finally beat Medicare. Why do you care to remember this?
If realignment has shown anything, it's that the college football landscape will remain fluid.UNLV is staying in the MWC. UNLV signed a agreement to do so. UNLV leadership has pretty much said that they staying, want to stay in MWC. UNLV would cost 17 mil(exit fee) + Poaching Fee more unless win lawsuit.
UNLV joining PAC 12 ship has long since sailed away. It's probably not going to happen.
Memphis is WORTH 13 mil to 43 mil to join PAC 12.
Yeah I said that yesterday.Looks like it’s a done deal
TBD. You are buying a traditionally cheap stock that looks like it could be breaking out.Yeah I said that yesterday.
So am I the only one here that will state the obvious? That this is a huge letdown? Bringing in a middling SUN BELT school? Even USU fans are unhappy with this. "Swinging for the fences"? I guess the backstop is technically a fence.
The spin that Brand X will put on this should be comical when it comes out.
Was laughing so hard I about fell off my chair. I think I like WCW. I might have to come back with my own offerings.....The PAC# name should be re-branded, the history is dead and gone. This conference is pretty laughable. I do not imagine the P2/P4 will really respect it as an entity.
Chat GPT offered some suggestions for new conference names (with descriptions):
And yes, I recognize WSU was left behind in the new college landscape. But I'll stand by my statement above even if the conference were to add UNLV, Memphis, or Tulane too. I expect to be very underwhelmed with the forthcoming media deal.
- Extinction Athletic Conference (EAC) - A fitting title for a league in its final death throes.
- West Coast Wasteland (WCW) - Where the ghost towns of college sports gather.
- PAC-Rifice Conference (PRC) - Everyone sacrificed loyalty for money, and here we are.
- Leftovers League (LL) - A buffet of what's left after everyone picked their favorites.
- Conference of the Damned (COD) - For schools stuck in the purgatory of irrelevancy.
- The Forgotten Few (TFF) - Nobody cares, but hey, at least it's a catchy name.
- PAC-K It Up (PKU) - A grimly poetic goodbye to what once was.
- Death Row Conference (DRC) - Just waiting for the final execution date.
- Ashes of the West (AOW) - What remains after the fire of greed burned it all down.
- The League of the Lost (LOTL) - For schools wandering aimlessly through the ruins.
