One player from both OSU and WSU was drafted. Kyle Williams.

List:
SEC (79)
Big Ten (71)
Pac-2 (1)
Washington State ─ 1

With revenue sharing coming in, and the NIL market way outside of what we can achieve, it's time to think about doing business differently.

What revenue is there to share?

I'm sick of being lied to and WSU trying to convince anyone that the school and the football team will be anything other than an afterthought going forward.

We aren't even making MWC money.

How is this sustainable?

There isn't revenue to share at WSU. Our school doesn't have a plan, which is why they've been silent on this.

Whatever we* do, we should expand the Administration and budget to match SEC/Big10 schools so that if we get a real media deal, we’re prepared to spend the money.

MIK: Wrong: Fix: Pac 2 is making 6.5 mil per team per year. That is MORE then the 7 mil total, about 900k per team per year the MWC gets.

How is this sustainable?

you don't know. it hasn't been released. Canzano and wilner don't know either, so stop stating it like it's fact.

the current mwc deal is $4MM / School per year

Exactly. WSU has no $$$ with this tv deal to write checks to anyone.

WSU is better off not paying anyone anything. Kids want NIL deals? They can hire an agent and have them find the deals.

Seriously, who on the roster right now is worth 5 or 6 figures? I follow recruiting closer than most. I couldnt tell you who is on the team any more other than the QB and he has only played 1 game.

We just filled our roster with South Dakota State transfer players. A South Dakota State team that was blasted by the last place, and winless in conference play, Big-12 team Oklahoma State. We aren't attracting or retaining power 4 level talent, which is what we need to compete and make it to the CFP.

Better hope Jimmy can coach up these kids and his scheme gives us a competitive edge. If it doesn't, WSU athletics is going to be in serious trouble.

Yes. The good thing about the rosters being so fluid now is that you can cut everyone and start over. The prob is that if you bring everyone in and then cut them all, it says more about you than the kids.

I have no idea if the kids he brought with him can level up or not. It isnt like DickTurd left the cupboards full. So it is what it is right now. This is a terriblr schedule. Could be a toss up between last year and this year for weakest ever. If he doesnt win much for games this season, what happens next year?

The roster cap at 105 will be interesting. Will talent trickle down? I still think the cap needs to be 70 to see any sort of competitiveness across BCS football as a whole.

WSU football has no brand. A no name coach. He has no West Coast roots. A staff brand new to West Coast recruiting. They haven’t played good football in a while. No success stories to sell West Coast HS kids about West Coast HS kids going to WSU and developing… they all left!

At this point WSU is prob better off just going 100% HS kids. Whoeevr stays, stays. Keep maxing out the 105 every year until it sticks.

It's not.

What's the old saying, "When you outflow exceeds your inflow, your upkeep will be your downfall"?
