Yeah, could be interesting to see if/how it affects play.
Who is still on the roster?
At least through the tournie. Supposedly winners get some $$.
Would be nice to get Watts back. Tough to build fan interest with a complete rebuild every year.
Sucks that Georgetown had a guy go unconscious from three. At one point, he was 8 for 10 and he hit a couple ridiculous threes in the process. If he shoots a normal percentage, WSU wins by double digits. Of course, he'll go 2 for 10 in his next game and they'll get stomped.
Of course, the other main reason we lost is that we had no legs at the end of the game and got crushed on the boards in the last five minutes of the game.
The other takeaway from the game is that it was the most one sided play calling that I've seen in years by announcers. When WSU was up by 10, the announcers were saying, "these Georgetown kids should be proud of how hard they are scrapping since they have a couple starters missing from illness". I don't recall a single mention that WSU was down three players because of the portal. The announcers are going to have sore throats from all the fellatio that they were handing out to Georgetown.
