King makes cuts "on a dime" , then turns on the whisper jets,and he is gone. He would be a great pickup. I do not believe that they will land Alston and it would be nice to land him. One is wondering if the cougs close with a bang or lose a few of their Commits. I really like the linebackers and DT's they have recruited. It would hurt to lose them at the last minute. I cannot remember a time at which other schools were pursuing coug recruits this late in the game.
I'd wager there are some programs out there that are raising an eyebrow on this class and trying to do whatever they can to nix the momentum that a class like this could create.
I don't think this is what is happening. I don't think it has anything to do with stopping the Cougars momentum. What I do think is going on is that WSU is recruiting a lot of good players, so other schools see a good player and are going after them. Recruiting a lot of good players was not a problem that WSU used to have.

Possible. Many here would know better than I what happens in a NCAA coaches office but I do know what happens in business and that would be happening without a moments thought. Get the equivalent of a "product", or a player, and at the same time bring a competitor down a notch?! Hell ya.
The catch would be "equivalent product". We all know there has to be a fit to it all for a player I'm just sayin', if I could get a player that appears by all accounts what I need but he was just off my radar for whatever reason, why wouldn't I try to bring a competitor down at the same time?

It is supposedly between the Deacons of Wake forest and the cougs. The big advantage the Deacons have is proximity to his home. Other than that i ' d say that the cougs are the better choice for someone with King's abilities.
