the REAL Connor Halliday

I just wish more Cougar fans would have given this local kid more support. I cringe to think how likely it is the cougar 'fan' calling him worthless as his leg breaks... posts here.

If he gets drafted (or even given his pick in UFA) to a good OL, with a year or two to "redshirt", maybe he gets his footwork back if he's not subconsciously expected to get pinata'd on every play.

If he sees a field this regular season, though, I'd suggest that's not good for the long term.

Let's not forget that Halliday was threatening most NCAA records in the book when he went down. He certainly wasn't the problem last year. I wonder how good he would have been with one more year under Leach.

After we fielded a line of QBs with releases like Satchel Paige over the last decade, it was nice to watch him and that snap release, sweet.

I believe that the NFL scout got it right when he said ." i felt sorry for him watching him run around, he is so skinny" I believe that his fans will be disappointed in the draft results.I guess we will find out in a couple of days.If drafted he will get some money in the short run

The only one who would say something like that posted on this thread. Halliday is a tough kid who underwent far more of his share of tough times
Well, we all know the saying "It is better to remain quiet and be thought a fool, than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt.
