Let that sink in.
Wherever we end up, we may play those cocksuckers from Seattle again and they may call it the AC however they'll never agree to play in Pullman.
How very sad.

Fck them then. Why would WSU continue to play teams that went to such great lengths to cheat them?

Fck the uw.
I agree Biggs and I hope we never play them again but IF we do it ain't gonna be in Pullman.

If they want to sign a deal for a series they show up in Pullman first. Or no deal.

The independent schedule could be here. Dictate terms. Make teams pay big bucks. If they are gonna take the huge tv payout, they have $. No more bargains. Maybe ag schools get a deal, city schools fcking pay.

Call Apple and sign your own streaming deal. **** it.

Where are the Chun lovers now to shit all over me when I say he sucks???

Get Moos back in there. Get someone whose phone calls will be returned.

The game will still be in Pullman every other year if it gets played at all.

The only way that doesn’t happen is if WSU is getting a $5 million+ check every year. Money talks. If that happens, WSU should at least insist that every other year is at the Seahawks Stadium. People will bitch, but WSU will cash that check.

Just bring the Apple Cup back to Beasley Coliseum 11/25 where it belongs for its rightful resting place👍

If Dr. Schultz and Chun get WSU to the Big 12, that'll change a lot of people's opinions.

Hopefully it'll happen, especially once the the commissioner gets a chance to examine WSU's television ratings, the GameDay flag, etc

The rivalry is over, it should be treated like any other non con game

Not sure you’ve noticed, but we’re not likely to be in a strong negotiating position. Tradition doesn’t matter, it’s all about money.

Putting it in Seahawks stadium isn’t going to change anything. When that was discussed as a “neutral site” a few years back, UW already demanded most of the seats and a bigger cut of the gate. That’s why it didn’t happen. If those were their demands when we were both Pac-12, they’re not going to be more accommodating when we’re in different conferences- especially if we’re anything but Big 12

Then fck them. You are not going to build a program constantly being held over a barrel and fcked like a $2 hooker on Bourbon Street.

Then we dont play them

If UW goes to the Big Ten but flounders and WSU goes to the Big 12 and remains a winning program like it is now, it's pretty easy to envision to see the Cougs winning their share and then some of head-to-head recruiting battles.

I will continue supporting WSU but I don’t want to see us play any of the schools that left in anything. The Apple Cup can die as far as I am concerned. UW is the one who threw that in the dumpster and not us.

Moxie, if Gov. Insley and the state legislature appropriate additional funds to WSU as a result of Klaitkoff's malfeasance, could there be strings attached to require the Apple Cup be played annually?

That would not be popular in Cougar circles.

Barry Bolden (head honcho of Brand X) wrote an editorial yesterday telling UW to "pound sand" as far as continuing the rivalry.

Apparently the UW athletic director (the heavy-set lady) issued a PR statement before the ink was even dry on their Big Ten contract that the huskies wanted to continue the Apple Cup

Is there talk about Inslee and the state legislature doing something like that and forcing WSU to continue playing UW? I know UW put out the presser about wanting to continue the series but I agree with Bolton and they can kiss our collective arses as far as I am concerned
Football scheduling isn’t something that any legislative body should ever deal with.

If they wanted to do something, they should have mandated that WSU and UW remain in the same conference.

if they force the apple cup in seattle every year, but all tickets and DON'T GO.....let the empty seats speak.

Chun doesn't negotiate TV deals.

HTH

They cant force anything unless we let them. Schedules will not be easy to work out in different conferences
