From ESPN via Associated Press:

SAN FRANCISCO -- Washington State coach Kyle Smith was reprimanded by the Pac-12 Conference on Wednesday for comments critical about officiating after a home loss last week to Southern California.

Smith said this week that a specific play in the game where Washington State's Noah Williams and USC's Nick Rakocevic became tied up was "terribly officiated." He followed with, "I don't know, do I get fined for that? Probably."

Washington State lost 65-56.

Smith is in his first season at Washington State. The Cougars (10-5, 1-1 Pac-12) are at California on Thursday night.

Yeah the Pac-12 should fine its self often for having crappy officials

Funny thing is that Smith even said in his post game comments after the USC game that he really liked the officiating crew for that game, that they do a good job, but that they missed the call. (I thought it was the offensive foul on Tony Miller, down 3 with 6 minutes to go, he was griping about, not any play involving Williams & Rakocevic.) Maybe he should get reprimanded for saying something good about officials that are often inept.

Tony Miller gets some bad calls on him. I was sure they were going to call a foul on the block he had on the UCLA big at the end of the game even though it was clean.
