Too Bad Bobi Buckets Didn't Get Drafted

I kind of expected it due to our record...but I also find it hard to believe there are 36 players better than her.

I bet she will land in the league after she plays in Europe.

I sure am going to miss watching her play and her Bulgarian scoop shots, Euro steps, spin moves, mid range jumpers, floaters etc. One of the craftiest scorers I've ever seen at any level.

Definitely one of my favorite Cougs of all time.

I will miss seeing her play, she was one of those players that seemed like they were here for ten years. Not sure if it was that she played in two different coaching regimes or that she had a extra year because of her injury but seems like she has been at WSU forever. Which was a good thing. Also I’m sure she would have liked to be drafted but the European money is better than WNBA money I’ve heard.

I wouldn't doubt it. Most WNBA players play in Europe anyhow in order to make a full time income...at least in their earlier years.

I know Sue Bird did and Diana Turasi as well...so Buckets was going to play in Europe anyway. Was really hoping the Storm would have picked her up. Maybe they still will after Euro ball.

It’s not her offense that’s the issue because she obviously put up nig numbers. It’s the other end where her quickness probably hurts her. It’s really tough to crack WNBA rosters with only 12 teams.

Hopefully she gets picked up for a training camp.

I never took into consideration the amt of teams. I still have a hard time believing there are 36 players better than her.

I would wager if we had a winning record she would probably get drafted. I think she might even do better in the pros because hopefully she'll have other people who can score the ball on her team.

With us, its basically shut her and Molina down.
