Great news! and all-anthracite for the fans. I'm gonna need to buy some new Cougar gear before the game
The early season ritual... Got to head to the Crimson & Grey store, plus the Bookie, to get some of that new September swag.
Saw lots of people picking out anthracite gear at the bookie and Crimson and Grey before the last couple games. Should be a fun time!
Caught an interview late w/Petros Papadakis with what sounded like the UCLA beat writer.
When asked to compare which program has slid deeper into despair, USC vs. UCLA, he was quick to note UCLA as they have a coach who doesn’t want to be there.
There is no energy around the UCLA program, and although I never take winning for granted, I’m feeling good about Saturday.
I read a report by a UCLA writer who said the worst part of the team is their pass defense.

I’m confident we’ll score plenty, however we might see a few of their RB’s sprint between the gaps. They had a couple open field runs vs. Oklahoma, but OU is not exactly a defensive dynamo.
The UCLA pass game is average, so with a full house in place, I envision the defense making enough stops to make us 4-0.
