Right now UCLA is up 10 - 3 it's still really early, but hopefully UCLA can win this one.

If they do it puts us one step closer to challenging for the north.

Basically anybody that plays Cal we need to root for as they have the tie breaker over us.

If we can keep the momentum going by beating Zona...The game vs Stanford will be for the lead in the Pac-12 North.

Agree that we need to root against Cal for at least a couple games. Seeing the attendance at the Rose Bowl......UCLA fans should never try to say anything about WSU football game attendance.

I expect that from UCLA. The whole city is fickle trash. The people of the palouse are better than that...or at least I think of them as better.

I think it will come down to whether our D can contain the edges. If we do, the QB running will not be a huge deal and we will win. If we go scatter-brained and leave the edges open, we will lose. I really think it is pretty much that simple. I would like to think that the D will have its bigger brain doing the work, so I am predicting a win. Probably in the 40-30 order of magnitude.

Well, CAL laid an egg tonight against UCLA. I did not watch the game, as I was watching the Seahawks game. But, losing 40-24 was not a good showing.

I didn't watch the entire game, but I watched enough to see that UCLA's d-line/LBs had their way with Cal's O-line. This illustrates what WSU has known for a very long time: the game is won and lost in the trenches. We're finally climbing out of the hole dug by atrocious recruiting.
