UCLA seems to be a monster mismatch for the cougs on paper. They are taller,quicker and faster. and have many HS AA s on their roster. They also have many pro prospects on their team and two players considered of " one and done variety". They have lost two recent games ,one against their hated rival USC. They will not suffer a letdown and should be in peak form. One hopes that the cougs will make it a competitive game and that students turn out for the game on Wednesday in Pullman

Other than playing ASU, UW, and Colorado again, WSU doesn't face any bottom feeders the rest of the way. This could get very ugly. Playing at home, assuming any students show up, might help against the L.A. schools, however.

UCLA has a habit of not coming to play in Pullman. If they do come to play there is no way we can stay close

If WSU can again beat udub,ASU, and spring an upset ,most likely against USC,the season will have been a good one.Anything else will be icing on the cake.Just think about it,the cougs will be favorites against ASU,and udub when they meet again . Who would have thunk that?

Wouldnt surprise me we will still be under dogs in those games but who cares. Wish I would have been in Vegas to get the ooints and bet yesterday. I seldom bet on Cougar gsmes but would have on this one.

Sitting by ASU fans and they were surprised how much more athletic we were than they expected. They couldnt believe we had a guy with Ikes speed and hops. They thought Hawk looked NBA caliber. Agree he did yesterday, but more likely looking at a nice career in Europe.
