USC

It's early and all.....but I'm thinking that Graham Harrell at USC might be a scary thing for the rest of the conference.
I said as much to my SC buddy. Told him, “The way SC can recruit, you should be very scary very soon with Harrell there at OC. If you go undefeated, you should still fire Helton and just promote Harrell to head coach.” He agreed and then called Helton a tool.

If they do well this year because of the offense, then he is likely one year and done. He will either get a coordinator job in the NFL or a head coaching job at a P5 school.

Also intetesting that USC loses their starting QB, then rolls out a less than highly rated kid in Slovis who proceeds to have a Falk, Gordon type of debut. Watching Slovis, I can see why Sears hit the road.

Less than highly rated by typical USC standards, but it's not like he's a stiff. Higher-rated than Gunner Cruz. Of course, he's still a true freshman playing in a pretty high-pressure situation. As much as I like Cruz, I can't imagine throwing him out there in the Air Raid right now.

Sears was very good in his one game action last season, 20-28 with two TD's.
