UW ducked up. Missed a field goal lose to ducks in OT

Better game than I expected with Oregon having an extra week, but the Huskies had their chances. Hope the Cougars are taking advantage of the bye. Go get ‘em.

Well someone has to beat them because you guys clearly failed.

Dawg'ed it.
Prefer that they have their own description of snatching a loss from the jaws of victory.

By the way....Does the Washington O-line ever get called for a holding call. UO got called 4 times in the last quarter and overtime combined and I saw a couple of times the UW could have been nailed.

To see Oregon run up the middle for a pretty easy TD on that final play was surprising given what we have seen from dub the last few years. Road games against us and Utah are the toughest games left by far for the Ducks.

I am not a Browning fan but thought he did some pretty good things throughout the game especially when you consider the impact of Gaskin/Ahmed injuries. Just don't want to leave it up to a freshman kicker to win it on the road. Fuller seemed quiet. Interesting game next week at CU.

The CU game should be interesting, but it’s at Husky Stadium. I hope CU gets their first win over USC today.

I just use “Wide Right” for any time they choke.

good job ducks we will enjoy beating you next week.
Ducks made their mistakes too. They missed a similar field goal fumbled a kickoff etc. not sure I’d agree with the narrative UW blew it, two well matched teams and the ducks were fired up. They will present some challenges especially for our defense.

The Ducks screwed the pooch.

Watching them beat the Huskies was like watching Gadaffi KO Saddam Hussein - you don't know if you should be happy that one lost or mad that another won.

#2 Georgia was also exposed by a marginal LSU team today as well. Not a good day for any Dawgs.

The mutts "good loss" to auburn isn't that good anymore. They lost to Tennessee! That's 3 for them.

There is probably just one great team in college football. Saban = Wooden

Didn't the starting QB get hurt? If he's out, Jalen Hurt could lose one game all by himself.

I don't think so. Hurts could start and win games for a lot of D1 teams. Hurts was the starter the last two years. Alabama's record during that time was 26-2. I don't think it really matters who the QB for Alabama is, they just have so much overall talent.

As if I needed it, there is extra incentive for me to see the Cougs beat the Ducks. A so-called friend of my wife, who lives 1500 miles away, called immediately after the UO-UW game and left a voice mail message gloating over the Ducks OT win. She's so clueless and so typically eager to rub it in when her beloved Ducks are victorious, that she failed to realize it was Washington, not Washington State, who went down to defeat. My wife calmly sent a text message to "friend" indicating that we were just fine with the outcome of the game since the Ducks beat our rival. Still no response or acknowledgement of the mistaken identity. It's going to be tempting to rub it in when the Cougars come out on top Saturday.

Glad Cougar

The SEC, outside of Alabama, is nothing special. It's been that way for 5+ years.

Glad, those drunken texts often don't get acknowledgements when corrected.... ;)

I know this is the line from the non-SEC but Georgia, LSU, Auburn, Florida, Miss State and the Ole Miss Cheaters have stringed together some pretty special seasons in the 21st century. Anything else is sour grapes.

Agreed. Dawg'd it is really good. Also works well when they lose despite the superiority they love to tell us about.
