uw-Gonzaga medicine - so messed up....

OK I don't have knowledge of all that went on with med school prior to the ESF College getting approved by the Legislature. I can say that WSU moved its Nursing and Pharmacy programs to Spokane some years ago. We now have a complete Health Sciences campus up there.

So what is the deal. uw-Gonzaga has their little arrangement. uw medical is full speed ahead in Spokane. BS on that. C'mon legislature - either Spokane is our health sciences domain or not. And F-Gonzaga. Embrace us in your town or GTH.

My understanding is we approached GU to partner in some way and they said no. Then UW comes in and GU agrees but they still needed somerthing from WSU. We agreed.

I hate our decision but it's probably best for the state. Wish our arrogant and holier than thou neighbors would go about business with the same approach.
