UW looks dominant

Not in my eyes. Their defense plays soft because they cannot get much pressure. Their backers are not elite anymore either. Would I be surprised to lose by 2 tds or more? No. But this is the first year in a while I don’t feel like it’s probable.
BBK has been incredible all year. While I hate all things purple and piss it is hard to call him anything but elite.
UW looks like a “good” P12 team this season. Not nearly as many scary players as they’ve had recently. Just a solid team. Their defense is good, and they can pop some big plays on offense with their misdirection stuff.
They got a couple of guys on defense. They don’t have a defense chalk full of NFL, fringe NFL guys. Their pass rush is weak. Minshew will pick them apart if they blitz and pick them apart if they don’t.
I was at the game. They didn't play anybody. OSU is an average Big Sky team. They just don't have the players. UW has only one. Gaskin. That's it. They're good, but not great.

The stadium was not nearly a sellout, (they've had trouble selling out all year). No comparison to Martin. The students at UW aren't in the game at all. The entire stadium felt like 100% adults and alumni.

Yes, their run blocking is superb and there will be just enough PI calls on the Cougs to keep it close till the end.
You’re joking. They do not look “dominating” in the least. Especially their D. Slow, trodding, mopey, not the huskee defense of past seasons. And their offense, this year, will be gobbled up by Coug speed D. Happy Thanksgiving Coug fans. I’m grateful for GM.
Totally agree. The Dawgs looked anything but dominating. OSU scored points on them.

They have an average Mountain West QB. They just have Gaskin, pretty cheerleaders, and a good coach. That's it.
It seems like their most dominant players, under Petersen, are these little midget, speedy Gonzales guys. They are super fast but so damn little. Hard to tackle and super annoying. Like a mosquito or something.
Pretty cheerleaders? I thing their mascot, King Redou is the prettiest thing they have on their sideline.
Not really a fan of the cold games because the cheerleaders are all bundled up
If you read some of their boards, it is unbelievable that they are only 8-3. Dominant punishing defense coupled with an elite QB/RB behind an imposing O-line and monster receivers/TE's usually gets you more than an 8-3 record.
I would not bet this game, because in a sports anomaly, which there are many, the Huskies always play by far their best game of the year in the AC and WSU for whatever reason also play their worst one. Maybe it is match-ups but personally think it is psychological.

Qualls, Vea, Baker, Jones, etc. are gone. There is no reason to think (other than uw playing its best game and WSU playing its worst) that uw will be able to get pressure with a three man rush.
Browning is due to have one of his awful games against us. I don't think Trey Adams' return will make a difference, he didn't look good from what I'm gathering. But Bryant's return could make a difference. A few big plays up the seam, moving the chains, etc. can be done playing 20-30 snaps.
I think the wild card in this is Minshew and his attitude. I can't see him being overawed by the Huskies or the game. He has shown remarkable leadership qualities throughout the whole year, and if this year's game has some bad patches in it (and they always seem to) Gardner has demonstrated the ability to not only raise his game but that of his team mates. From what I have seen Gardner resembles Russell Wilson at his best in those characteristics.
This is the key.
I think that it a real positive that Minshew was 3,000 miles away for the last 3 AC's. Highly unlikely he even watched the games or knew the scores. It is unusual to have an experienced QB like that , that also does not have the psychological baggage of the past AC failures.
