I'd say that you would be wise to avoid all of those bets.

Someone posted a supposed Vegas line at 4.5 wins next year. Do you know if that Is accurate?

Yes, I bumped my own comment... shoot me.

Here is why I hope Vegas does indeed have the over/under at 4.5

1. It means Vegas thinks we're improving.

2. It will help temper some of the 7-8 win season pre-season expectations of our fan base

3. I we win 5+, we BEAT Vegas. We win 6+ and land a bowl game? we've slaughtered expectations and might trigger that spark in our general fan base we're all hoping for

If six wins in year two (which DEFINITELY beat Vegas) after 12 in five years, didn't spark the masses, why would six wins in year four do it?

Obvious reason is that Leach is winning with his players rather than Wulff's players.

Getting six wins will silence most of the complaints but it isn't going to excite the casual WSU fan. For us to start seeing really enthusiastic response from the folks that are sitting on the sidelines, we need a 9-4 finish or better. Any winning season is a great season in my book though.

I think 7 is the magic number for regular season wins, get there and there is a buzz in the region. Win a bowl game, 8-5 and optimism will be back.
