VIDEO: Leach arrives in Starkville

Red carpet brought out. They didn't show the other side of the building where they store the rail and a bucket of tar.

feels bad, man.

Private jet, fcking already had shirts made... I mean, this deal was done 3 days ago apparently, just had to get the lawyers together.

Like seeing your ex with her richer, better looking boyfriend (not a stretch for me... haha)

Oh come on man. Mississippi State is NOT a wealthy program. Most of their message fans have talked about the similarities between them and WSU. Yes, they have more program money than WSU, but comparatively speaking, look at what (who) they're up against. Bama, LSU, Auburn, Texas A&M, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina.

His Twitter profile is already updated with a new background... together with the things you cite, this has been a done deal for a week at least. Way too much has already been organized.

You're right but I've also seen them pointing out that they're usually a low Top 25 class year in and year out. They are excited about the possibilities of what the pirate can do with objectively better talent. But as you point out, will it be enough to sniff the teams above? Probably not.

I'm not even going to do the research, you can.

I said "richer", which means "has more money than" and in this reference it would be us they have more money than. FYI, thats not a very high mark to get over; between the sh!t P12 deal, our complete lack of donors and/ or donations, and our tiny stadium, we are comparatively poor.

Probably over the weekend. The interview with Leach gets leaked to see if the MSU masses give it a thumbs up or thumbs down. Recruiting budget and assistant payroll pool gets finalized. The MOU gets drawn up. Signed, sealed and delivered today.

There is no relative aspect of it for Leach. If he's getting paid upwards of $6.5 million, its $6.5 million.

That is a great welcome for their new hero. His personality and politics fit real well with Mississippi Burning territory.I bet they pay him about 5-6 mil with a free house car etc. Just wait until he gets his behind kicked for about 2-3 games in a row, They will not cheer him his first year. He will have more money to pay assistants in Starkville. That will help to establish his program.

Shithole town, in a shithole state and that reception looked corny and awkward. He’s going to get his teeth kicked in down there. It will be interesting to see the contract details.

That's an airport? Looks like the old Pangborn Field in East Wenatchee...

Sark’s name was leaked to give MSU a bit of leverage.
