Notably, you're not giving providing us with any manner of determining what you consider the fastest 40 time- does that mean at the combine, electronically timed, hand-timed, etc.?40 time over the last 30 years?
I know there is one Coug on the board who knows this personally …
NopeNotably, you're not giving providing us with any manner of determining what you consider the fastest 40 time- does that mean at the combine, electronically timed, hand-timed, etc.?
But, I'll play along. I believe Trufant was timed sub 4.3, so I'm going with him.
Milton Wynn? He was a blazer.40 time over the last 30 years?

If trufant was ever sub 4.3 it was a very shoddy hand time. He wasn’t even the fastest player on that team. His speed was adequate but he was a technician more than a speedster.Notably, you're not giving providing us with any manner of determining what you consider the fastest 40 time- does that mean at the combine, electronically timed, hand-timed, etc.?

Trufant had outstanding 10 yard quickness and change of direction . He was timed at the combine I believe 4.49If trufant was ever sub 4.3 it was a very shoddy hand time. He wasn’t even the fastest player on that team. His speed was adequate but he was a technician more than a speedster.
In terms of 40 times it wasn’t Milton … a year or three before him .Milton Wynn? He was a blazer.
Yup. I’d guess Jason David had a faster 40 time than Tru. Also a great career in the NFL.Trufant had outstanding 10 yard quickness and change of direction . He was timed at the combine I believe 4.49
Everyone talks about the 40, but the 49 yard dash is the true measure of top end speedIn terms of 49 times it wasn’t Milton … a year or three before him .
