going back on what I said last weekend re: Oregon's defense.
While I was having my interweb spat with a fellow Coug regarding the nuances of why our defense sucks, I happened to see that Oregon's defense is for real. Like, for real for real.
8.7 ppg (1st), 267 yards/gm (1st), 160 passing yds/ gm (1st), 107 rush yds/gm (3rd), 12 INT (1st, next closest is 9), and 21 sacks (1st, next closest is 16).
Their schedule hasn't been incredibly tough, and the first high powered offense they see may be us. That being said, the sacks and picks are the stats that win games.
