Good win for us. Both teams started slow but we pretty much controlled the game from the second quarter on. Midway through the 2nd quarter both Hristova and Molina went out with 2 fouls and I believe we extended the lead from 5 to 9 points at the half.

Subasic went for 15 and played pretty good against their bigs on defense. Murekatete had some good moments in the first half. Sarver and Cherilynn Molina had some good flashes as well. We out rebounded a pretty big team 53-37.

There were mistakes but nice start to year 2!

Excellent start to the season. Hopefully, the women's team can keep it going, keep improving, and be competitive despite a tough schedule.

Glad Cougar

It's early and hard to know what this means. I still do not expect much for either basketball team, but I do think both will be much improved from last year. They both are headed in the right direction for a change.

It will be interesting to see if baseball will have success early on

I think we will see much better results from baseball in year 1. Down the line Omaha will be in sight.

Oregon about to beat Team USA. They win by 7. First time a college team has won since 1997. That's the Pac 12 though. Oregon, Stanford, and Oregon State are top 5 material. ASU, UCLA, and SC always have talent. Cal's usually solid at minimum. It's a very tough conference to navigate. We could be a lot better this year and end up under .500.

I am curious as well. We will see how this new staff is regarding developing players. I was optimistic about Lees, but he was in over his head. His plan kept on changing and he ran off too many players.
