At the end of the first quarter, the Cougs lead 20-5. Good ball movement today.

Cougs come out differently in the second quarter. No ball movement. Careless play. Haven't scored in the first five minutes of the second quarter.

28-17 Cougars lead at the half. Not a good second quarter. Very sloppy play.

Better 3rd quarter. Cougs pushed the ball for an easy basket, or used the inside outside game for open 3's. E Villa is struggling with 1-5 shooting and 2 points. Cougs up 51-30 after 3.

Watching Kami on the bench it's tough for her to watch as well.

Cougs win 67-46. Game was never in doubt. They didn't play their best game, but there was a big difference in talent level regarding the teams.

17 turnovers and a lot of them were unforced. Yes, lots of players got minutes. That will help later in the conference. I also do not expect E Villa to only score 2 points again. 2-0 in conference. Next up Pacific on Monday.

Yeah, no question on E Villa. She didn't get a shot in the 1st half.

Ethridge said after the game "we are just going to have to live with the mistakes" because they are so young but need to get those players experience. They could have stuck to a tighter rotation and probably won by 30 to 40 if not more if they really wanted to.

Good point, a shorter bench and maybe we win by more. But we know it is the right thing to do to get the freshman minutes. Kpetikou had 14 minutes, Abraham 15, Mendes 14, Alsina 14, and Dart 8. That is a lot of minutes for freshman.
