Why are they holding back on announcing the hire? There was a new Assistant Coach hired in March to fill the opening. He was in Vegas. Has strong ties to a former WSU men's assistant. One some wanted for our new MBB HC. This is an opening they didn't fill for nearly a year. Now they have another with Jackie moving on.
Nice! I know there's a ton of competition for Aussies but will obviously be huge to have him on the staff. I assume he was a positive for our newest signee?
I assume so as well, I never even had heard about her. There are more Aussies in the pipeline.Nice! I know there's a ton of competition for Aussies but will obviously be huge to have him on the staff. I assume he was a positive for our newest signee?
I never thought I would see Captain Backup Quarterback needing all this hemorrhoid creme about the unfair treatment of Ernie Kent. Even after all these years you sometimes still surprise me.Big loss but money talks. We will see who replaces her. The Athletic program has scarce dollars and wasted funds on a financial fiasco by Chun
Entire staff is out recruiting according to @recruitwazzu that has to be good[/QUOTE
I saw one of the coaches at a viewing tourney in Auburn Wa this past weekend . It is that time of year .
Hey El, someone hacked into your account and said something nice. You may want to look into that.Kamie is a coach quite worthy of her position she has won championships and is a significant upgrade to the university She is a winner not like the butt sore posters who are backing a proven non winner. I will probably go see a women's game or two this coming season. It will be money well spent
Interesting that you think her coaching record is great, which I don't disagree, but that Kyle Smith has not done anything. Her winning percentage is .586 (92-65) while Smith's is .573 (164-122). Not too far behind. For what it's worth, I'm optimistic both coaches can turn around their respective programs. Go Cougs!True praise is much better than faint praise. She has a great playing and coaching record
I really think they both understand what’s needed and that’s important. It’s still going to be a tough road but I really think both are great fits and we are fortunate to have them in Pullman.Interesting that you think her coaching record is great, which I don't disagree, but that Kyle Smith has not done anything. Glad Cougar
Just as I thought. You couldn't respond in a dignified manner and resorted to name calling of the new coach. At least you've stopped saying he's never taken a team to post season, which you repeatedly got wrong in earlier posts. I'm not quite sure what the playing careers of coaches have to do with anything, but I don't have any interest in playing one Cougar coach off against the other. I hope both do well as do all bona fide Cougar fans. The dufus has never won a conference or tournament Championship .He has never been to the NIT or the Big dance. She played on a national Championship team and was an Olympian. Smith played for a small podunk school.Quit trying to compare the two. There is simply no comparison other than a negative one. She is the gee and he is the whiz so to speak.

Another difference is that she has pride and is not trying to kiss leach's behind. She is a proud respectable woman and a credit to her profession.
