Down 2 under a minute, Teder is called for a hand check around halfcourt and Ethridge is called for a T. Leads to a 5-point possession for CU and that was game. I don't know what Ethridge said or did but under a minute to call a T in that situation is brutal. All but ended the game.

I don't know either but it couldn't have been good. It seems that the refs are not as quick to call a T as they have been in the past. Especially complaining from the players. There have been several times I felt sure our players, most notably Noah, were going to get T'd up but didn't.

It was a physical game and suddenly Teder gets called for a hand check when Thomas (UA) wasn’t even going forward. Why wouldn’t Ethridge get upset? To call a T in that situation was criminal unless something was thrown like Smith in the ASU game. Couldn’t see her but can’t believe it was that bad to basically hand the game to UA.

Anyway, gritty game with CL-W only going for 5. Thought she played well but to stick around with a top 5 team without her points was impressive. We had chances but couldn’t make enough shots. Overall a quality and hard fought game.

It sounds like Ethridge was upset with Teder fouling in that situation and the ref thought whatever she said was directed at him/her. Could have been somewhat similar to Efe's T last year when he was upset with himself, and the ref thought it was on the call.

Officials have a tough job but end of a tight game that's just not a call you make unless you literally have no choice. Doesn't seem like that was the case last night. Ok, I'll move on now.
