It sounds like Ethridge was upset with Teder fouling in that situation and the ref thought whatever she said was directed at him/her. Could have been somewhat similar to Efe's T last year when he was upset with himself, and the ref thought it was on the call.
Officials have a tough job but end of a tight game that's just not a call you make unless you literally have no choice. Doesn't seem like that was the case last night. Ok, I'll move on now.
