The energy was there from the start and we were able to get out to a good lead (18-9). Could have been even bigger if we get open looks to fall. That would hurt through the game as we missed a lot of shots that have been falling most of the year. Missed lay ins, shots just rimming out, Hristova taking good mid-range shots but just off today. Gave Stanford too many 2nd chance attempts and turnovers. Down 6 in the 4th we had 3 times down the court where I think we turned it over. Obviously you can't do that against Stanford. Stanford isn't as talented as they have been in the past but they aren't going to make many mistakes.
If we can bring this kind of intensity and energy the rest of the way there are more wins. If we played as hard as we did today all the time the conference record might be flipped to 7-3.
