What’s the consensus on the hire?

I just landed back on earth.
Good hire?
I asked Trump, here is what he said....

"Great hire, Washington State. You've secured an amazing college football coach. This guy is a proven winner, incredible track record, fantastic leadership. Your team is going to dominate, believe me. The best hire you've made, hands down. Go Wazzu!"

Actually it sucks because a woman made the hire, and as you stated, could be going through menopause and made an irrational decision. I mean look at Jen Cohen and Marie C for UW and USC. They are in a better position than Chun and Schultz.....but just luck. Personally I think they should be getting your slippers

Let's remember that Trump hires lots of women (who are generally both beautiful, smart and wise). For example, have you seen his lawyer? Whoa! Unlike the feminine "progressive" "men," he doesn't seem obsessed with checking a box for DEI reasons, though.

Yes, Cohen and Marie C are in a better position than Chun/Schultz. They happen to have lots of money, which helps minimize "problems" and challenges.

But I'll repeat what I stated before, I prefer men leading over women. Ann needs some help in her attire, appearance (to look like a professional) and communications skills, but I'll give her credit for the Riley hire. She seems like a very nice person. We'll see how this new football coach does. She did rely on a consultant firm, I'll remind you.

PS I don't wear slippers.

Well if they are too soft and compassionate, wouldn't UW still be in the Pac 12? Wouldn't their emotions got in the way and say 'if we leave OSU and WSU won't have a conference and we can't do that to them. Matter of fact, Schulz thought he had a deal and the women pulled the plug, and also the wool over his eyes.

Not understanding the big deal with the search firm, Alabama used a firm....but they are probably a little too woke for you.

The University of Washington has substantial financial resources due to a favorable geographic location. That is why the TV execs chose them to be in the B1G. It wasn't anything special that their AD did. Just show up, so to speak. Also, women are not immune from back stabbing and lying, as you should know by now.

Currently, UW is competing with other schools that also have advantageous geography. However, I predict that this competition with other Big 10 schools, that have financial resources due to their locations, will not end well for UW athletically.

Ed, I understand that the concept of "the specific does not change the general rule" might be challenging for you. It is possible for good female Athletic Directors (ADs) and other female leaders in various functions to exist now and in the future. This does not alter the general rule, though. For example, look how female leadership at the Ivy League schools has been a disaster, despite the incredible built-in advantages of these schools.

I can put the words above in rap format with the assistance of AI if that would help. 😆 🤣

Rap form? Why rap?

Rap form? Why rap?
Rap can be an effective medium for conveying messages because it:

- **Engages through rhythm**: The beat and flow can make complex or nuanced ideas more memorable.
- **Facilitates storytelling**: It allows for narrative, personal experience, or argument to be presented in a way that's engaging and culturally resonant.
- **Emphasizes points**: Through rhyme, repetition, and cadence, key points can be highlighted for emphasis.
- **Connects emotionally**: The performance aspect of rap can evoke emotions, making the message more impactful.
- **Breaks down complexity**: It often simplifies or reframes complex issues into more digestible, conversational language.

In your case, using rap to discuss a topic like the impact of female leadership in specific contexts could make your argument more accessible or provocative, potentially sparking discussion or reflection in a different way than traditional prose might. However, this approach also risks oversimplification or misinterpretation if not done carefully, as rap can sometimes be seen as more opinion-driven.

Tbf, none of dickert’s guys were big name guys from large programs that we all heard of… and didn’t leach say that fcs, fbs, power 5, g5, we play the same sport they do, they just get to practice the same craft with a different caliber of players and competition. CJR is picking guys he knows he can work with as a coaching team. Let it play out.
