What’s up with Mora?

It was about tampering, but who knows how the conversations really were? Mora is a first rate twit. Not sure why anyone would believe anything coming from him.

You notice that the only team he has called out so far is the Cougs? I am sure that is only a coincidence.

I think it’s reasonable to take anything Mora says with a very large grain of salt.

Now that I think about it, go ahead and invite everyone on the UConn roster for a visit.

OK wait a minute. The quote is clearly from a HS recruit, and the recruit mentions WSU, not Mora. What are the rules around HS recruitment if they have signed a letter of intent? And yeah this must have been Dickert's staff? Many questions here.

And yes odd that WSU is the first (only?) target. Let's see if there are more coming. And there is zero evidence that he was ever even contacted about the WSU job.

And why does everyone hate Mora? The only reason I even know his name is because of his dad.

I think that since it's being referred to as tampering it would seem to indicate that it's not a high school recruit but wording is odd.

You guys are a bunch of cheaters.

I kind of doubt it’s true. Us and UConn don’t have much history of chasing the same recruits. But we’re a program that can get named without repercussions, and give Mora and UConn another day in the news cycle. Also makes him look good to his team, fans, and recruits.

Also possible that Dickert or someone he’s taking with him contacted the kid for Wake, and the kid got confused. His writing and lack of punctuation doesn’t scream “deep thinker” to me.

Jim Mora Jr has a long history of rants and comments that he should have kept to himself, from Atlanta, to Seattle to UCLA. Just google it. He was called the "angry bear" at UCLA, going off about a fake twitter account, which happens all the time. Saying UW was his dream job while coach at Atlanta wasn't a smart move, laying into a Kicker in the press while at the Seahawks, the list goes on and on, this is just the most recent one. Some people never learn, sometimes it is better to keep your mouth shut.

If it comes out that he was seriously considered/interviewed, the Regents should demand removal of both Schultz and McKoy.

That is simply treasonous behavior.

Thanks. Oh and I know which WW posters you refer to in your last sentence. I wish they knew........ :)

I was surprised to find the word, "conversate" in an on line dictionary. See what we get to learn from this site!!?

Hugh McElhanny, Don James, Rick Neuheisal, and Tosh Lupoi all send greetings to you.

Good stuff. WSU has gone from plucky underdog to one of the least liked teams in the nation as the desperately try to cling to any semblance of relevance.

Least liked teams? Hilarious.

I guarantee that in measuring population areas/locations in coordination with # of students and graduates over the years that WSU is in the Top 50.

I mean, it is disappointing that that the welfare central Kmart layaway seems to wear more purple than Crimson, but I'd rather pass on Inslee Elite fan club.

Fuw is still one of the biggest jokes in the country for true fans. Probably 2nd only to Gonzaga and then Oregon at a close 3rd.

Classic huskies. A day late and a dollar short. Both Mora and you are criticizing WSU for something the Wake Forest coaches were doing.

Paraphrasing Dean Wormer- Losing in the courtroom and losing on the field is no way to go through life son.

Yeah...someone has crimson colored glasses on. There's this recruiting thing and then the little other things of backdooring a conference that threw you a lifeline and then trying to weasel out of the signed contract with them. No surprise that you want to overlook the integrity problem that WSU has.

Sounds to me as if you’re quite frightened over an Apple Cup repeat.

So, you're whining about WSU's situation after uw and Oregon bailed on the Pac-12.

That's some huskie logic alright.

Even though what you say is pretty much correct, you are still a mutt so go away.

A handout “lifeline” lol. WSU and OSU paid the MWC 2x the going rate of FCS visiting SEC games at 1.2m per in ‘24 and were asked to pay 2.3m per in ‘25. All while the conference put any games vs top half MWC teams in their home stadiums. Calling any of that a handout is the sign of being mentally deficient if it’s not hyperbole.

So explain again why the uw and their other traitors fought against the clear wording of the PAC 12 rules about what happens when a school leaves the conference. Some real great integrity there, huh?

Handout isn't anywhere in my post, you're arguing with yourself. Made funnier by tweedledee and tweedledum liking your response.

Haven't whined about a thing. Pointing out the lack of integrity WSU has. BTW - It was WSU's fault for thinking they could continue to suckle on the teat of others and not making alternate plans.

Whimpering may be more appropriate term. Explain how WSU was "thinking they could continue to suckle on the teat of others and not making alternate plans." given the WSU's TV ratings, winning percentage, etc. We were doing more with less.

You say that but WSU had higher TV ratings than half the conference for the better part of the last decade. If you want to call out schools for suckling on the teat of others, you should be calling out Cal, ASU, UA and Stanford. Those freeloaders had consistently terrible TV ratings. CU was in that boat until Sanders came along and they'll drop down as soon as he leaves.
