What happens when you jump all over Stanford early? This happens...

Read an article today stating how Stanford's D-Line is pretty thin..... Need to take advantage of that.
That seems to be the only weak link in their chain. Everywhere else they are solid to very good. An excellent fundamentally solid team with no glaring weaknesses other than a bit of a problem in the depth on the DL. We will need to be consistently good throughout or they will grind us down.

They are also a little green in the defensive back field, although the players they have back there are good. Stanford's safeties and CB's last year were huge, and fast, they aren't quite as big this year. Hopefully with all the pass attempts their Dline and DBs are gassed by the 4th quarter, time will tell.

No, we're doomed, DOOMED I tell ya!! Leach's offense will never work. This dink and dunk crap is D-II.

Makes you wonder if we shouldn't be extra aggressive on the first few drives. I'm not talking about 4th down conversions deep in our own territory - more like from midfield, or perhaps pulling out some trick plays early just to rattle them and force them to abandon the game plan and play catchup.

I feel like we sort of been doing that, but just without the trick-r-ation. We score so quickly that it sets the tone of the game. It's obvious what their game plan will be, slow the pace down and wear out our Defense down. Hopefully, Grinch has a great game plan of his own to prevent that.

Like that Martin double reverse we've seen a couple of times. Or the bump/jump handoff to Priester/Marks.

Is it me or have I felt like there's been a lot of flea-flickers/double reverse passes this season? I feel like I've seen one every week for awhile.
