Tapa definitely needs to get stronger. Just like the U-dub interior guys, he looks like a tub of goo, but they're much stronger tubs of goo. Riley Sorenson had more goo than he could handle in the AC.

It appears he was highly recruited out of high school, and he's a standout at his JC.

Tapa has the talent but agree on the strength. UW had 3 guys his size. We could use a few more.

I agree. Martin has speed but seems to play tentatively. Priester looks the part if he's still in the fold, but I was unimpressed watching him in games. He seems to play tentative as well. Sweet is a reliable posession receiver, but he's a notch below Cracraft. Need Johnson Mack and a couple of the red shirts to really step up, or need to find an impact JC. Good thing about this offense is it's attractive to guys who want the ball in their hands, so they can usually find capable guys to fill gaps when needed.

Priester seemed to play a little robotic. They do have Derrion Grim (Nebraska/San Joaquin Delta) committed. Johnson-Mack, Pantmon, Porter hopefully all come through early. It's depth at IR I'm a little concerned with at this point but I'm sure they will figure it out.

We need speed at linebacker. Our middle backers have been dangerously slow for a long time, and it ruins us on third downs against teams who sit guys in the zones. It's getting ridiculous how bad we've been at linebacker for a while. We need to get more athletic overall on defense.
