He sounds pretty damn confident doesn’t he?! So he’s with ESPN radio?I love this guy’s podcast and how high on the Cougs he is. Hope he knows what he’s talking about…..
Everything he's says is accurate. All this stuff helps. Dickert and Corso. This guy. All the noise. All positive for us.I love this guy’s podcast and how high on the Cougs he is. Hope he knows what he’s talking about…..
They would each bring in the same media market to the Big12 that uw and ou will bring to the B1G. I do not understand why the media broadcast partner of the Big12 doesn't see the benefits of this. That's all I have to say about that. It’s all about geography. Sure, OSU and WSU can compete in sports but if there’s no extra cash for the conference members, they don’t want to hassle traveling to the PNW, especially for Olympic sports.
The networks don't see it because we're not located in the market we bring. USC brings LA, UW brings Seattle. We bring a dispersed market that's not directly tied to a specific geography, and they're not sure how to deal with that. They see our home market as Spokane/E WA, and don't see enough there to be worth pursuing. They also can't quantify the market growth potential, so they assume we don't have any. They would each bring in the same media market to the Big12 that uw and ou will bring to the B1G. That’s just being lazy and probably realistic for the first cut of this process. The more our admin and coaches keep banging the actual viewership data numbers it forces a closer look at where the viewers/ markets are.The networks don't see it because we're not located in the market we bring.
