...a team that is an "F" team one week (like us yesterday), and then a "B+" team the next week, then a "C" team, and so on...

OR....

...a team that is a "B-" team every single week?

I know this is a question that demands more details/explanation, but I always appreciated Dick Bennett's sentiments that he didn't want the former, but instead demanded the latter team. He wanted consistency each and every game.

We are the former under Leach (usually more C-/D than B+/A-...unfortunately lol). Would you be okay with, for example, beating Furd, ASU and losing to OSU, Wyoming, etc. or the opposite?

Wazzu beats Wyoming. Leach's teams have always been up and down. He lost to a dreadful Dan Hawkins coached Colorado team at home only to beat a top 5 Oklahoma team a few weeks later. There have been examples of this at Washington State too, just not as many highs as there have been lows. Last year they win at Utah and almost beat the 2nd best team in the country Oregon, yet have a string of bad losses where they didn't show up. The key is to get more good than bad like at Tech. I still have hope that can happen, but it really comes down to whether Bender or Hillinski is the real deal. If one of them is, I expect 7-5 seasons and above routinely next year.
