I'll admit it. I was so frustrated watching the women play Gonzaga I stopped watching with about 7 minutes left and down about 8 points. The reffing was brutal and I felt there was no way they would ever overcome that and a pretty good Zag team. I just had to tune back in for the final seconds and somehow the Cougs had gotten a 1 point lead and Galderia went to the line, made two, for a 3 point lead with 6.9 on the clock. Lo and behold, the Zags dribbled it down for a layup with 0 seconds on the clock and a final score of 59-58. Only in the women's game could such a scenario unfold.

They played awful but found a way to win on a tough court. I'm not sure what GU was thinking down 3 going for 2. Maybe they figured the refs would call another phantom foul. ;)

Official were bad for WSU, somewhat bad for GU, so just basically bad. Hopefully Galderia is ok.

This stat is for the men's team, but one of the TV announcers for the Gonzaga-Arizona game said the zaggies are 2-17 v. Top 10 teams in the last ten years. If they had played all those games at home, the record would be better, thanks to the officials in Spokane.
