Which, if any, Big Sky teams get the "MWC call up?"

You have to imagine the MWC is preparing for life w/o 4 to 6 schools. I think it would be great to see the Griz on the larger stage. Great fans.

I personally like the Big Sky. Some really good rivalries with MSU, EWU, Idaho and Idaho State that are a tank of gas from Missoula.

I think they would want to go. The added money and TV exposure at the FBS level is likely too good to pass up.

Sac state, either of the Montana Schools, Eastern or Portland State would all be good candidates.

I don't know how much the Mountain West Conference looks at academics, but maybe Cal-Davis could be a candidate, too?

My buddy's daughter got accepted into a couple Ivy League schools, but she decided to go to Cal-Davis because they have vet program she likes.

They've been Top 20 in Division I-AA several times the last few years. So they're pretty good at football, too.

Are the teams that would be called up to MWC. MWC, would start first with NDSU, and work down list, if names higher up on list say no.

Also MWC would probably raid the Sun Belt, C-USA, Metro Atlantic, etc, first, before calling up a Big Sky team, except maybe NDSU, who they would contact first before raiding other mid major conferences

My daughter went to UC-Davis. I love the place. But I also love D-2 football. The Big Sky seems just fine.

I had a son at Davis. Most similar to WSU of all the UC schools. Many alums would welcome a step up. Used to be that Cal would veto it behind the curtain, but not so sure of that now.
