Who are you rooting for. USC or Utah?

Pittman is a beast. 10 catches 232 yards 1 TD so far.
Same way they beat us last year. Jump balls. Our corners were right there and couldn't make a play on the ball. Just knock one of those down and we win. Easier said than done with big athletic receivers like that though.

It’s like dads playing basketball with little kids.

Brock made a funny comment a few plays ago about all the flags. Something to the effect of, "here's a flag for you for tackling too hard"
It really is ridiculous. It makes it so hard to watch. Sometimes it feels like the Pac head office gives the refs a mandate to make sure everyone that's undefeated gets a few bad calls so everyone has at least one loss the first month of the season.

Most likely no Zach Moss next week. I still think the Utah qb is more dangerous running than throwing. Utah OL surprisingly looked porous.

Yet another case of the Pac-12 schedule doing no favors for the conference. Have already seen the drum beating for the Pac being left out of the playoffs again and only gets worse with this result. Also hurts WSU substantially from a respect standpoint as Utah would drip out of the rankings with a loss to us.

Don’t worry. We have plenty of ranked opponents left on the schedule.

Utah left a lot of points out on the field. 8 out of 10 times they win that game.
Cougs, Kal, and ASU are now the pac12's remaining slim hope for an undefeated team. Who would have thought?
Kal and ASU may be pretty highly ranked when cougs play them. I actually hope Ore and UW aren't ranked at all by the time we play them. Hope they lose the rest of their games-although obviously they play each other so unfortunately one will win.
But this is all hypothetical. Cougs need to take care of business and not be concerned about who is ranked where and when.

I don't disagree, but at the same time, what if USC goes on a crazy run and is 10-2 and ranked #8 when we play them at 12-0 and ranked #5 in the Pac-12 championship game? Let's say that Utah is 10-2 and #11 with their only losses to WSU and USC. Oregon is sitting at 10-2 at #9(with a win over USC but a loss to WSU). All of the sudden, that Friday night game in September isn't as relevant and it would be hard to keep WSU out of the CFP if we have wins over three teams that are ranked in the Top 12.
