Dylan Lewis had scholly offers from Hawaii and Wyoming !! Amazing to get s kid with those offers to walk on. His pic on Twitter was impressive, heck of a thick neck and looks very well built. 6-3 245 lbs. Nice recruiting job by our coaches.
Have you spoken with Harris, Scott? I figured he was a pretty extreme Longshot when he didn't visit this weekend and opted for Kansas. Hard to believe he commits to us sight unseen.
As of today, Marcus Harris hasn't committed to any school, but Kansas is probably his favorite. On a side note, Kansas had 3 defensive ends visit over the weekend including one 6-5 and 280.
Read into this all ya want, but Harris has recently started following on Twitter 3 Different Kansas JUCO Coaches ( Coffeyville CC, Independence CC, & Fort Scott CC) along with 2 coaches from 1-AA New Hampshire.
Seems pretty obvious he's looking at Jucos for that reason.
Maybe, but I don't think we would have been putting the last minute full court press on him if he was a grade risk (and other schools were too). Might have been a victim of musical chairs. Under the radar guy suddenly gets a bunch of options and then the music stops and all those offers have been taken.
It's unlikely grades became an issue in the last week or so.
Have you seen the pic of Lewis on brand x? The dude has been hitting the weights very hard.
He will quickly get a scholarship IMO. Seen him play in HS he has a great motor and I think will be a force on our D Line sooner rather than later.
