There were no reports that Willie Sykes has flipped from Washington State to Nebraska in the first place.Originally posted by ElComanche:
i guess that there is some stuff on Brand X where Sykes denies that he has flipped. As you know i am not a paid member so i am not privy to that board. i hope that it is true and he is still a coug. That would be a wise decision for Mr Sykes
We have an Willie Sykes update on the front page. He talks about the Nebraska visit, current commitment to Washington State and a timetable for a "final decision."Originally posted by ElComanche:
I know that but your tweet found a life of its' own It made quite a few retweets and news on the husker board. There were a couple of husker fans congratulating themselves on Sykes' flip". There will be a lot of activity and rumors before National Signing Day. I hope that the cougs can hang on to their commits and add a couple of nice players. It would be a great signing class if that happens.
The stories and tweets about Mason thinking about flipping to Washington State come directly from Mason's comments following an in-home visit with the Washington State coaching staff, which played a part in his immediate de-commitment.Originally posted by 425cougfan:
The stories / tweets that made it sound like Taeon Mason was on the verge of flipping to WSU also look a bit silly now, and may even have been counterproductive to WSU's interests. This is coming from a guy as into recruiting as anyone.
All it took was my post here to get him to commit, so it's all good.Originally posted by Britton Ransford:

for me it was james darling. i went down w/ my roommate the day after showing up on campus my freshman year (95) so he could meet w/ the head trainer. i couldn't stop watching darling. his motor was unbelievable. they were doing some kind of non (well, low anyway) contact drill, but he was still just flying around. he was everywhere at once.Originally posted by Cougsocal:
I still miss taking the afternoon of work and watching the new kids during fall ball. Let's face it, in Pullman, if you are good and are a difference maker, you are a walking neon sign, you don't need stars. My first jaw dropper was Broussard, He was fast carrying 208, at 180 and fresh legged, he was warp speed nothing but knees and shoulder pads. My last was Gesser, Bambi among a herd of water buffalo.
Alas, I moved to the darkside, Socal, for a better job paying 3 times as much. Not really sure it was worth it.
