To Nebraska is the latest word. No confirmation yet. Word is that the cougs are bringing in a DL, a new CB and LB prospect this weekend? No confirmation on that yet
Those offers went out months ago, for what it's worth.Originally posted by ElComanche:
There are two new coug offers out to Brandon Hayes a 6'4 240-255 pd senior DE out of New Orleans with 4.8 speed He is quick and has committed to USF. Also tyler Horton a 5'11 -180 CB thought to be headed to Boise State has received a coug offer, They may both may visit this weekend perhaps with another LB not yet identified. this crazy recruiting. Hayes on video looks great and i hope they can land him Miss st has also offered
No, and he's not visiting. The staff hasn't recruited him for quite awhile.Originally posted by JBrown4435:
Is there any relation to Damante Horton?
Both prospects show Washington State offers and they were offered back in October. Neither of them are visiting this weekend. There are a number of guys that I have added to the visitor list for this weekend, but that information is in the War Room.Originally posted by ElComanche:
Well if they visit then it does not matter. Horton Shows a coug offer but Hayes did not. Hayes is one i really like. He ,not sour grapes, looks to be quicker than the DT we just lost. I believe that he has a greater upside than DF whom will be turned into a O lineman by ASU ,much to his chagrin.

You can say SB Nation or CougCenter. Personally, I'm not worried about the flips, we get our share coming our way. What I don't like, is sites like CougCenter that try and make things a bigger issue than they are. It's something you'd never see from sites like Dawgman.com. Their number one goal is to move the ball forward for UW athletics. They report nothing negative on the front page while winding down the recruiting season. Why? Because it's not helpful to UW football. They also don't owe non-payers negative information. They do however reveal things in the members only area with strict rules about posting it on the free board. I really dislike those guys, but I respect what they have built on that site.......Originally posted by chipdouglas:
Obviously really impressed with the recruiting, especially this year, but I am continually gobsmacked to find yet another "Recruit X flips from WSU to Y School" every time I navigate to a Coug website. Right now on Brand Y, 3 of 4 'inset' photos link to stories about recruits flipping to bigger schools. Like most, I'm sure, I can't wait until WSU is no longer considered an Insurance Policy to the most talented recruits.
