Good win. Udub was overmatched when I was able to watch.
Anyone know why we have played 3 years in a row @ Mountlake? Did play twice one year but maybe just one of those quirks.

Our "direct football" style poses real match up problems for anyone we play. If the Pac-12 continues to struggles with it, having to face it every year, teams that we will play in the tournament won't know what the hell is going on. It is so antithetical to how the NCAA women's game is played.
Keep this in mind, this team scored 5 more goals, and allowed 7 fewer, in conference play, than did the 2019 final 4 team. Against Stanford/UCLA/USC we were out scored 1-10, and out shot 25-62, in 2019, this year we were out scored only 1-2, but out shot them 47-46. If we play solid defense and avoid the unforce errors, I like are chance against anybody.

Not to beat a dead horse, but the women's Soccer and Volleyball Teams are not named the "Lady Cougs". Its not a politically correct thing, its just not the name of the teams. Its like deciding to call the Cougar Football team the "Gentleman Cougs". Plus, we don't have men's soccer and volleyball, and we don't have women's football, so we don't need to assign a gender anyway. They are all just Cougs.

If you want to jump on the bandwagon for soccer the night before the NCAA tournament selection, you might as well learn the name of the team you are supporting.
They work really hard and deserve to be called by the correct name.
Just a side question; I'm taking a poll; how long will it take UW to live down the academic prowess remarks? Are we talking a month or so, or a year, or longer?
