Sucks that 100-plus seats are going to be empty. Sell the damn seats and get more Cougs in the house.
Looks like more than 100 seats - more like 200? The bus that rolled had over 60 people in it, and it was one of 6 busses.
Hell yeah sell those seats. I bet there are 200 people out in the RV lot with no tickets that would pony up $20, 30, 40 at the last minute to get in. Leaving them empty is STUPID, Chun. Nobody died, nobody was even hurt seriously.
100, 200, whatever it is, they could easily sell them for a nice chunk of change given the excitement for this game, and a couple hundred revved up Cougs can make a lot of noise for the home team.
I don’t like it, it’s too cute and PC. I wish our band would say NO to anything Husky and not play it. Schulz and Chun screw the pooch on this one imo.
Before my time on this site. You guys need to relax and have fun with this. It's just another game.
I hate it but there's virtually no risk from the standpoint of Chun, whereas refusing would seem like poor sportsmanship. Cheap thrills for Huskies and cheap CYA for WSU bureaucrats.
Just here for the pregame and post-game festivities. Good game, little more in question than other apple cups in recent past.
