"Gaining approval for this project, which is funded solely on private donations, is a testament to a lot of hard work by many people, " said Washington State Director of Athletics Pat Chun. Uh except you only have $4 million on hand, supposedly another $2.5 million coming by August, and still have to take out a $3.5 million loan to cover these other donations that you supposedly have.
The state-of-the-art facility renovation and enhancement will cost approximately $10 million. 100 percent of the project costs will be covered through private donations. WSU Athletics was able to secure nearly $2 million in new gifts and pledges over the past 12 months to reach the $10 million goal.
Uh except that measly $3.5 million loan........
Bet you $20 that the last $3.5 million doesn not ever come in. But we won't know because the debt payments will just melt into the bigger pot. 'Cuz that is how it works.......
