Since the Pac-12 won't get a team into the 4-team playoff, the winner of Pac-12 champ. game goes to the Rose Bowl. However, with a 10-2 record, highly popular QB and well-known coach, Cougs could end up in one of the other New Year's Six Bowls. But some of those bowl have contracts with other Power 5 conferences. Fiesta? Perhaps. Stewart Mandel from The Athletic says WSU vs. UCF in Fiesta is possible. A lot will depend on how far WSU falls in next CFP rankings. If not the Fiesta, Cougs could go to Alamo Bowl or, at worst, Redbox Bowl in Santa Clara,Calif. Doubtful WSU wants to go to Holiday Bowl for 3rd year in a row.

I'll take whatever we can get, but I'd prefer a bigger challenge than UCF. Nobody outside of those universities will watch. Give me anyone else ranked 5-10 (other than Georgia). Michigan, Ohio State, LSU, Oklahoma... anybody who would be embarrassed to be thrashed by lil' ol WSU. And after last night, I think WSU will have the surprise of the year waiting for whoever is unlucky enough to draw them. Minshew and Pelluer et alia will go out with a bang.

I’d love to play Michigan in the Fiesta bowl personally.

UCF would be fine.

Florida in the Peach bowl would be cool.

The bummer with the Fiesta is Phoenix isn't much of a recruiting hotbed.

Planting our flag in Atlanta or even San Antonio would be great.

I guess you have missed that at least 3 of our 2019 recruits are from the PHX area ? It’s a big metro area with a lot of recruiting potential imo. Kids that live here in the heat all their life might just be glad to get a new weather experience in a place like Pullman. Also PHX is about the best and cheapest place to fly to for our fans so I think the Fiesta Bowl is perfect for us.

JC recruits don't really count as being from the PHX area. Beekman is from Louisiana and Powell is from Richland.

Prep recruits from Arizona haven't treated us well over the years. I personally think recruits here get overrated because of how easy it is for analysts to see them live.

There are 3 HS kids from Az currently committed to WSU including our QB.
