it's not hard to figure out a post count Ed.

But no on can make you believe anything you choose not to believe.

Re: it's not hard to figure out a post count Ed.

I would think the amazing thunder of silence from HWGC/Fishie would be proof enough.

So maybe he/she "doesn't care enough about what we the anonymous mix of weirdo posters all think". But a Coug that is OK with the Coug community thinking he's a Doogy… Oooooookay. Not sure if that works. More power to him/her but don't expect the Coug community to open arm him/her, or anything.

Or he has no response to what's being said, i.e. it's true he's a EWE troll.

Either way, he seems OK with people thinking he's a Doogy… this is par for the course over years of these points being brought up,.

So why others are upset about this, when he isn't is beyond me. I can see Fishie smiling over a handful of Cougs defending a EWE troll. How empowering that would be for Fishie.

HEEELLLLOOOO! Merry Christmas everyone.

Or... just maybe... he doesn't feel the need the defend himself against a few message board idiots who stoop to calling him a UW supporter without any real proof that he is one. I disagree with the guy probably 75% of the time, but will run to his defense when a bunch of Internet bullies start ganging up on him. He came on here and made a statement and a bunch of folks, rather than discussing ( for example, "I disagree with your assessment... here is why.") they went straight to 3rd grade level insult tactics. Does anyone realize that you can discuss a subject with someone you don't agree with without it becoming an argument?

I've been on this board for several years and nookie (and likely HWGC) while often annoying, has never said anything that would confirm he is a Dawg supporter.

Good post.

That's been my exact feeling.

I also don't think one is a Husky if he says Go Cougs in a post. Makes no sense.

Never once had a problem with the dude.

Obviously, quality and talent trump other factors, but in-state guys DO have advantages: they build and maintain local interest in the school, and that is important. But you're of course right: you just sign the best available as a rule.
