As long as the player was not a full time student, it does not start the eligibility clock. Do you remember Carl Bonnell? He grayshirted at WSU, but he enrolled as a part time student. It did not start his eligibility clock. Of course, he ended up going to the uw instead.

Correct. The prospect would have to enroll part-time as to not start his eligibility clock. There's no school in the country that would ask a kid to grayshirt and take full-time classes at the same time.
