This has been a down year for the Pac12 has it not? The only really good teams were USC and the uw. Even they were not of championship playoff quality. After that came us and Stanford, two decent teams but not excellent ones as the bowl results demonstrated. The other eight were mediocre to bad. A weak year on the west coast but we will be back.

Stanford is a bit enigmatic. Juxtapose their wins over Notre Dame and Washington with their loss to San Diego State.
