Another damning JDL report

Arizona in Pullman will be intersting this year to say the least.

If JDL plays in Pullman, on Arizona, this is the one time I will actually root for, hope that WSU's defense, INJURE THE SHET OUT OF JDL as KARMIC payback for JDL sexually assaulting.

Also hope that happens every game he JDL plays.

Wiscy’s response is their player was a juvenile at the time and no violations occurred as a player for them so no action will be taken. I would expect Arizona to have a similar reaction, as reprehensible as it is.

It’s a small island. It’s a national powerhouse football team. It’s their star qb. It’s the head football coach at the major university.

C’mon man. Turd had no idea?
Yeah, I revised after reading the 2nd article. I have no trouble believing that Rolo was aware there was something going on.

It's interesting to see that the mildcats have gone 15-38 in the past five years. Not quite Wulffian...but in the same ballpark. For the record, here is the list of the non-shit? seasons since 1976:

1985: 8-3-1
1986: 9-3
1989: 8-4
1993: 10-2
1994: 8-4
1998: 12-1
2008: 8-5
2009: 8-5
2012: 8-5
2013: 8-5
2014: 10-4

Two Top 10 AP finishes, and six Top 25 finishes, and eighteen bowl appearances.

FWIW, in that same time span, WSU has five Top 10 finishes, eight Top 25 finishes and sixteen bowl appearances. The Wildcats have been underwhelming but we've had the same number of non-shit seasons, more Top 10 finishes and Top 25 finishes but fewer bowl appearances. I'm not sure that we should be casting too many stones overall.
I only count 17 bowl appearances for them. Zero Rose Bowls, 2 Fiestas ('93, '14)

Well JDL's High School coaches had to know about it. Did they just keep their lips buttoned for their own benefit, or did Leach then Rolo just not do their due diligence when recruiting him? Or both.

It is never ok to allow a predator like this on campus. The notion that nothing happened while the player was there doesn’t work for me. What has been done has been done. Sad that programs would do this.

The Hs coaches kept their mouths shut. There is no way something like this happens and they are oblivious to it. I could understand Leach not knowing. He is a long ways away. But Turd? Too small an island, too small of a community, too big a deal.

JDL was lightly recruited because he wasn't the starter at SLH until his senior year. Once he got starter film interest picked but by Sept of a players senior year, most teams have their QB.

The juvenile records being sealed give everyone a degree of plausible deniability. Concrete details were few and far between, I can imagine the coaches said something like "he has maturity issues, but in the right environment he'll grow up." Important to remember JDL was under no obligation to go into details when talking with his coaches about the incident. He had no incentive so share that he and his buddy pulled a Dodd/Kennedy sandwich on a poor girl.

Ya sure about that?

Looks like I was mistaken. Reading online he didn't start until his junior year of HS. I thought I remembered reading how Rolovich offered him in spring practice before he was a starter which was spring of his junior year. Obviously this time table changes my interpretation of events.

Still, records were sealed as he was a juvenile.

The report says that the first complaint was filed in December 2021, so there's no reason to believe anyone from Leach or Rolo's staff was aware.
I doubt leach knew what kind of scum Jayden really is.

Closure for her so she can go on with her life. That’s what the other kids attorney said. Wow.

Jdl is a f’ing scumbag. So is his family. He is a sexual predator that should never have been allowed on campus. Who the fck signed off in this? What AD or HC knows about this and continues to recruit the player? And UA paid him all this NIL $$$??? Did they know about this?
In my view, this case was better not to be tried,” Green said.

“For closure for him, certainly closure for this young woman ... we just wanted my client to go on with his life, let her go on with her life.”

Why lawyers are called slime I’d love to see what he looks like and maybe blast his yelp, google reviews

Uh, because they are? personally, I prefer blood sucking leeches.

How many "second chances" do you think he's had? O/U 4.5.

Need to define "second chances." Does this mean times that an incident was reported to someone in a position to do something, but was brushed under the rug? Or does it also count the number of times that he or part of his entourage convinced/cajoled/intimidated someone into keeping their mouth shut?

Your call.

Your call.
Hmm.

Still, I have to take the over. It's alarming how often victims in these situations do say something...and to multiple people. And it's alarming how often those people decide it's not their business, and even more alarming how often those multiple people in the know talk and convince each other that it's not their place...but then tell the victim they shouldn't say anything.

Oh yes. He is a dipshit.
Rolovich buying food and taking it around to people during covid gives him hero points. He was 100% right about covid and it being unfair... unjust to be forced into shots. I liked what Rolo was doing strategically. He basically had us as a bowl team from day 1 with some of the craziest situations ever in college sports. Lots and lots of the players loved him. Leach was a huge supporter too.

Call what you want man...

I'm pro Rolo

Well I'm not a Rolo fan. F-him and his arrogance. I am not a big Vax guy - never had a flu shot = but I have now had 1 J&J, 2 Pfizer, and one Moderna jabs. Trifecta of vaccines. And am damn glad I did. And I even got Covid last year after 3 jabs. Temperature for a couple of days, mild cough. That was it.

He is a f’ing turd.

Name another Power 5 head coach that sends a tweet out inviting fans to drink with him at a bar. Would Saban do this? How bout Chris Petersen?

Name another Power 5 head coach that blind sides his AD and president by not going to conference media days. Would Jimmy Lake do this?

Name another Power 5 head coach that was fired over covid. Agree or disagree with the mandate or not.

Name another Power 5 head coach that rolls his 4th string qb into the game at the goal line with 3 back set in a run and shoot offense. Then blows it and loses to f’ing Utah State, a program that WSU pummels in $$$ resources.

Name another Power 5 head coach that divided his f’ing team over covid. Again, agree with the mandate or not.

Name another Power 5 head coach that dragged out his vaccine strike in the media giving his school a black eye.

Name another Power 5 head coach that takes 2 f’ing offensive linemen in a recruiting class that fcks the next HC. Paul f’ing Wulff, the OG of turds.

Fck your meals on wheels and **** him being a players coach. When WSU needed leadership he failed. And even if he didnt wanna take the vax, fine. But don’t fck the school on your way out.

What he should have done was just resigned before the season started. Say he doesn’t wanna take the vax. Leave quietly. Instead it turns into a f’ing circus and pissing match with governor. And you know who I hate more? Jay pos Inslee. Fck him! So don’t go thinking Im all about Asshat Jay.

Turd has watched 2 hiring cycles go by and he is nowhere. That’s what people think of him in the industry.

Also, name another Power 5 head coach that signed a sexual predator and brought him on campus. No way on that small island and small football circle that he didn’t know about scumbag de laura.

So yes. He is a Turd.

What was his arrogance?

What was his arrogance?
Coming out publicly to say that he'd comply, but then publicly refusing to get the vax. And, once he'd said he wasn't getting it, waiting until the very last minute to apply for an exemption, so there wouldn't be time to do anything about it if it was denied. He assumed that it would be approved...even though he'd already showed that he couldn't do his job completely without it (because he couldn't attend the Pac-12 media days). Then expressing surprise when it wasn't approved, and then more surprise when he was terminated over it - even though it was made crystal clear that's what the consequence would be. He assumed it didn't apply to him.

And, in case that wasn't enough, then continuing to belabor the point by suing over it.

I know of 3 other people (first-hand) who were also terminated over vaccine refusal, and who filed suits against employers (school districts). In all 3 cases the judges ruled that they have no legal basis for suit under established law, and they were dismissed with prejudice. They're done. Obviously none were such high profile positions, and I still won't be surprised if the state settles with Rolo, but if the case actually gets to court, the same law should apply.

It took me all of four games to know he wasn't the right person in charge. USC game tape speaks for itself. He and his staff lacked the ability to make adjustments.

The real money is going to be in the cases against big pharma who foisted their subscription based snake oil on the general public without full disclosure of the risks they knew existed.

Rolovich didn't "blind sides his AD and president by not going to conference media days." Rolovich wasn't allowed to go because of the Pac-12 vaccine policy.

"Also, name another Power 5 head coach that signed a sexual predator and brought him on campus. No way on that small island and small football circle that he didn’t know about scumbag de laura."

Leach signed De Laura.

"Name another Power 5 head coach that divided his f’ing team over covid. Again, agree with the mandate or not."

Please provide evidence that the team was divided. My recollection is the team was pretty pissed off when Rolovich was fired, and there was talk of a boycott.

WTF are you talking about? The Covid vaccine(s)? Snake oil? Hey, it/they f-ing worked. And still are working. And what risks? Some undocumented BS about supposed side effects and deaths? Post a link or two to back your BS up please.

Loyal, you have every right to think that, but there is 100% NO WAY he was "arrogant" in not wanting to get his covid shot.

If anything, arrogance is people thinking they can condemn others for not wanting the shot.

And I don't think you're trying to be like that.
Oh Geezus Christ. As I've posted, I've now had 4 jabs. J&J, Pfizer and recently Moderna. Goddam glad I did iit 4 times over. For Rolo and his assistants to refuse is just complete and utter BS. $3 million a year and you pull out some religious argument that has zero basis in fact? And think that WSU will just rolo over? That is arrogance my friend.

This. I’ve always said these coaches spend so much time with the players, they know everything. Who their girlfriend is, what car they drive, what their parents are up to, etc. Pete Carroll didn’t know Reggie Bush was getting paid? LOL.
