How are you defining "worked"? We were sold one thing (you won't get sick), and kinda got another (you'll still get sick but your case will be less severe). "Less severe" is basically an imponderable standard.
I've had Covid three times. First time was November 2020, very mild cold symptoms, literally sniffles. I would not have stayed home except that I was required to do so. I got a J&J jab in April 2021, mainly because it was clear getting a vaccine was going to make travel easier. I randomly woke up with a racing heartbeat several times over the next six months or so. That has never happened to me before, or since.
I got Covid again in December 2021. Was pretty sick that time. Equivalent to a bad cold, but not as bad as the walking pneumonia I've had. Got a Pfizer jab in April of 2022, again for travel. Third case of Rona in November of 2022.
I don't believe either of my last two cases of Covid were less severe because I got a vaccine. The only reason I would get another jab is for travel. And those requirements are fading.
Your anecdotal evidence is not better than anyone else's anecdotal evidence.
