Love how quickly they don't want to talk about the Rose Bowl after they realize it is UW instead of WSU playing in it. That in a nutshell should tell you everything you need to know about the national opinion of the Huskies, people forgot quickly that they were even in the game and after they remembered they realized that they were too boring to even talk about.
Muttlake shaking for sure. The most ignored top 10 team in the nation..... during your glory years none the less. Beat OSU so someone will notice UW. The whole PAC 12 is counting on UW. Don’t ****inng let us down.
I know Husky fans think this is some burn on WSU, but it is disappointing for both programs. The national media doesn't even know the difference and doesn't even care which is which. This doesn't happen to Auburn & Alabama. It doesn't happen to Georgia, Georgia Tech. Michigan, Michigan St. It just goes to show ESPN is lazy and just doesn't care enough about the Pac12 to even make sure they're talking about the right teams.
It's more an embarrassment for ESPN than anything else. More about "East coast bias" mixed with poor quality control. Too much is made of this kind of thing. Don't forget ESPN also had a section of mustache clad fans at the start of the show.
WSU has been the best story in college football this season and ESPN went on that ride with us.
Furthermore, it doesn’t happen to any Power 5 other than PAC 12. Why, because the PAC 12 network is owned by the PAC 12.
A conference that tries to attach its name to a network and declare its self a media company.
