Wonder if this is the largest roster we have had in many years?

17 Players are listed. 13 Scholarship and 4 walk-on's.

Some very nice walk on players to say the least.

Even 3 would give us the biggest roster I can remember. Whether any of the newcomers ultimately make a rotation it still shows me a staff that is a lot more active on the recruiting front than the past 5 years

Yup and I think Chatfield could end up playing down the line and potentially Sonneborn. I don't know anything about Olesen but Miller should get some minutes this year. I'm wondering who ends up moving on.

I don't think so. Didn't Kansas have like 5 a few years back.
I could be outdated or flat out wrong. Given they are all on the roster you would have to assume I'm wrong. I like the group. Probably isn't a potential starter among them but hopefully 1 or 2 can turn into something down the line.

I could see Chatfield, in particular, becoming at least another Charlie Engquist...good enough for maybe 10 minutes per game against certain teams. He's reportedly a very good rebounder.

Can't remember, did Charlie ever get put on scholarship?

Glad Cougar

I remember Enquist being on scholarship at some point. I think he's a good comparison point for Chatfield.

Charlie Enquist was on a scholarship his first year and And agreed it would only be for a year. Bone out him back on scholarship in his first year due to the injury and subsequent departure of Fabian Boeke (sp)

Enquist actually had a decent senior year if I remember . Even started a couple of games.

The Huskies currently have seven walk-ons on their 20 man roster. I also saw that their two big freshmen recruits are both projected as lottery picks in the 2020 draft. Same mock draft has Elleby as a 2nd rounder.
