Like I said from the jump.. Leach is crap of a coach... and he is probing it in spades
"Well done" to Leach and staff. We have been in the top ten of the Fulmer Cup races for years. I expected that to come to an end but zero comes as a pleasant surprise. I also am impressed.
Way to go stalker, NOTHING ERASES 3-9!!!!
It's what happens when you lay down the law and make sure players know that they will answer with consequences.
Leach has done an excellent job cleaning up the program. One of the best APR, very very minimal off the field infractions. Bringing in talent that is on par with Pac-12 teams. Taking us to our first bowl game in 10 years. Multiple players drafted in the NFL. It's just nice to see us turning into a quality program. All those dark years with no hope, but now...now we have a future.
Are you telling me you went through all those Tweets to find that one? That's creepy! You're scary! I want my mommy! You never played a down of football in your life. I've run through brick walls, all without a helmet. I'm battle tested!
You have legs? Lucky bastard. This is my picture. Of course, I have covered myself up for security reasons. That's nothing, son.
I had to walk barefoot 15 miles through the snow and rain to get to practice each day, uphill BOTH ways...
You and CPidiot need a new hobby.Yea But,,,,,,,,,,,

Or, You Think Before You Type ???
99% of my posts on here are criticizing Leach...Like I said from the jump.. Leach is crap of a coach... and he is probing it in spades. No way anyone said this.

It's reduced the average significantly, I suppose. Good that it's stopped, definitely need more wins than arrests. We are elated at no arrests in the last year when, in the last five years, we have 18 wins and lead the nation with 31 arrests?
True, here is the list. Notice that the other teams on the list are a who's who of top teams? We are elated at no arrests in the last year when, in the last five years, we have 18 wins and lead the nation with 31 arrests?
We have twice as many as every PXII team other than Oregon State, and three times as many as anyone other than Oregon and Colorado.True, here is the list. Notice that the other teams on the list are a who's who of top teams?
Where is Bud Withers when you need to write a scathing article trashing the coaches and players? We have twice as many as every PXII team other than Oregon State, and three times as many as anyone other than Oregon and Colorado.
Say what you will, someone certainly assembled an all-Penal League team.
Honestly though, it does not say how many of those arrests lead to convictions, which is the real barometer. Plus, some jurisdictions bend over backwards to avoid arresting football players and others go out of their way to look for every minuscule thing done by anyone to make an arrest. We have twice as many as every PXII team other than Oregon State, and three times as many as anyone other than Oregon and Colorado.

Your obsession with Ed is on full display. The IronED Laws say otherwise.
The no arrest thing is very impressive. Just odds say one or two kids will stray off base. Was brown booted for grades? I know he was arrested for being in the wrong place at the wrong time in early 2014, and was accused of hitting a woman. I think those charges were dropped. While it is true that not all PD's react the same, most of the stuff our guys have been arrested for would happen in most campus settings IMHO. Driving on suspended is an auto arrest most places. So is underage drinking, fighting, smoking weed (at the time anyway), stealing etc. The problem seems to be alleviating itself with Leach. His low tolerance of shenanigans is only going to decrease the average further over time.
If J Winston played at WSU vs FSU, how do you think that would have turned out?Honestly though, it does not say how many of those arrests lead to convictions, which is the real barometer. You really do not believe this, do you? As Ed mentions below, what would have happened if Winston would have played at WSU instead of FSU? The campus police told the woman when she reported it that she should really think about what she is doing. Then, they did nothing. While it is true that not all PD's react the same, most of the stuff our guys have been arrested for would happen in most campus settings IMHO. I think it is entirely possible he is sitting in jail right now.If J Winston played at WSU vs FSU, how do you think that would have turned out?

How many jurisdictions do you know of that an officer thinks it is OK to spy into people's windows? If you do not think that some campus police departments do not look the other way, you are naive.
The thing is that they never did an investigation from the start. They tried to do it later. The most crucial time in an investigation is the first 48 hours. After that, you are relying on a lot of luck. If you want the outcome of an investigation to go a certain way, you can. From what I've read, there was absolutely no basis to charge Winston with anything. That doesn't excuse the police from some, let's say "oddities" in their conduct.

Not sure a police conspiracy is the right word. How about overzealous. How many arrest happen where a police office is walking down the street, sees a screen out of a window from the street at 2 in the morning. He goes around the back only to discover a basketball player firing up in his own house. How many police departments do you really believe that go to that length.First, not sure what/who you are talking about in your comments. Look at what I wrote. I stated that MOST of those things are going to be enforced regardless of locality. What does FSU have to do with anything? They have traditionally sucked at enforcement. A singular incident happened when an officer observed something through a window to my recollection. You imply something creepy. Perhaps it was, I don't know. Seems to me like you want me to believe there is a vast police conspiracy. I think it is more college kids getting in trouble in the ways that college kids do.
