CFP 5 + 7 changes

Article addresses changes to eliminate automatic bid for PAC-12 and requiring leagues to have 8+ teams for eligibility. Middle of the article acknowledges that the 11 conference presidents on the Board to include Kirk Schultz have to unanimously agree. And they for some reason assume all will. Why the F would Schultz agree to these changes? Unless we get a power 5 invite in return? Thoughts?

Boston, you pretty much answered your own question. We either get a pot of money or a P5 invite. Hard to make sense otherwise.
